Abstract

The McNemar test can be considered the extension of the one-sample test on proportions to the case of two dependent samples or a special case of the sign test for paired data. In this paper we focus on the multivariate McNemar’s test by considering an unusual but interesting application of Basket Analytics. The application is related to the evaluation of the effect of the field factor in the performance of basket players. The proposed method is based on the nonparametric combination of permutation tests.
